ABOUT THE DESIGNER
A Lifetime of Understanding Print. Years of Design Experience.
For more than four decades, I have worked at the intersection of graphic design, typography, printing, and publishing. My career has taken me from traditional print production to today's digital publishing environment, but one principle has remained constant: good design must do more than look beautiful. It must communicate clearly, function properly, and be produced correctly. Today, I bring that experience to authors who want their books to look every bit as professional as the words they have written.
EXPERIENCE MATTERS
More Than Four Decades Behind the Design
I have spent more than 44 years working professionally in the graphic design and publishing industry, with experience extending beyond design into the technical world of printing and production. That background has given me an understanding of the entire process, from typography and page composition to color, prepress, paper, binding, print production, and preparing files that actually work when they reach the printer. For an author, that means I am not simply designing a cover or formatting pages on a computer. I am thinking about the finished book.

RECOGNITION
Award-Winning Creative Work
Throughout my career, my work has been recognized for creative excellence with two International Awards and one National Award. While awards are an honor, what matters most to me is what they represent: a lifelong commitment to thoughtful ideas, strong visual communication, attention to detail, and professional execution.

Author of Book on Adobe Photoshop Tips & Tricks (Tamil)
DESIGNER. AUTHOR. EDUCATOR.
I Didn't Just Use Photoshop. I Wrote a Book About It.
My relationship with design technology has always gone beyond simply using the tools. As Adobe Photoshop transformed the graphic design and publishing industry, I studied the software deeply enough to author a book about Adobe Photoshop, sharing practical knowledge and techniques with others. Writing a book also gave me something particularly valuable today: the perspective of being an author as well as a designer. I understand that a book is not simply another design project. It represents months, sometimes years, of an author's ideas, knowledge, experiences, and effort. That deserves to be treated with care. Giving back to the community, I wrote this book in a South Indian language, called Tamil.
A PASSION FOR TYPOGRAPHY
Sometimes the Right Font Doesn't Exist. So I Create It.
Typography has been an important part of my design career. My interest in letterforms eventually went beyond selecting typefaces for projects. I have also developed fonts of my own, combining an understanding of typography with the technical craft required to turn letterforms into functional digital typefaces. That experience influences the way I approach book design today. Typography is not simply decoration. The right typeface, size, spacing, hierarchy, and page structure can dramatically affect how comfortably a reader experiences a book.

WHY THIS MATTERS TO AN AUTHOR
Your Book Benefits From Everything I've Learned Along the Way.
DESIGN
Decades of Visual Experience
A book should look professional, appropriate for its audience, and distinctive without sacrificing readability.
TYPOGRAPHY
A Deep Understanding of Type
Typography is at the heart of every book. Careful font selection, hierarchy, spacing, and page composition make reading effortless.
Designed With Production in Mind
Beautiful design means little if it cannot be reproduced properly. Every project is approached with the final printed book in mind.
PUBLISHING
From Manuscript to Finished Book
Authors receive guidance through the design and production process so they can move toward publication with greater confidence.
PRINTED-PAGE IMAGE PLACEHOLDER
I don't just design pages. I understand what happens to those pages after they leave the computer.
That combination of graphic design, typography, printing, publishing, and production experience is what I bring to every book.
THEN & NOW
The Tools Have Changed.
The Principles Haven't.
I began my career long before today's one-click templates, online publishing platforms, and artificial intelligence tools existed. I have watched the industry evolve from traditional production methods through desktop publishing and into today's digital and AI-assisted creative environment. I embrace new technology, but I also understand something technology alone cannot provide: judgment developed through experience. Knowing how to operate software is one thing. Knowing why a design works, how typography affects reading, how a printed piece will reproduce, and when something simply does not look right comes from years of doing the work.
